Conflict Management

Carecall provides preventative and reactive services for conflict management.

Conflict Management skills training and Coaching are provided for Line Managers and HR Managers to provide early interventions when conflict arises.

We also provide experienced, independent workplace mediation consultants to carry out an impartial, confidential mediation for your organisation.

Mediation is based on the following principles:

Collaborative problem solving between those in dispute, reaching a 'win/win' situation which is acceptable to all A focus on the future, with emphasis on rebuilding relationships rather than apportioning blame for what has happened in the past A belief that acknowledging feelings as well as facts allows participants to let go of their anger and upset and move forward Mediation is a voluntary process and is particularly suitable for those employees who want to resolve issues through confidential mediation. Workplace mediation is particularly good at re-establishing respectful, professional working relations. The sooner it can be set up, the more successful and constructive the outcome will be.

Executive Coaching

Carecall provides coaching for senior executives of organisations. In today's highly competitive corporate environment, managers at all levels within organisations often find it difficult to see all the options that are available to them. When this happens, poor and sometimes disastrous decisions are made. Mentoring can play a very important role in this type of situation as it helps the Executive to have the freedom to think more clearly, to see options and solutions that they were unable to see in the first place.

Work-Bridge Programme

The purpose of Work Bridge is to develop a process that supports staff who are currently on long term sickness absence (i.e. more than 20 days), to return to the workplace. The design of Work Bridge is predicated on a collaborative and integrated approach to long term absence which involves key stakeholders in managing return to work. These stakeholders could include:

  • The Employee
  • The Work Bridge Coach
  • Human Resources Department
  • Line Managers
  • Occupational Health
  • General Practitioners
  • Trade Unions
The role of these stakeholders is critical to the success of the organisation in developing a wellness culture. Each has a part to play in creating, promoting and sustaining a wellness culture and environment. This pilot will focus on one specific element of wellbeing i.e. managing absence through supporting employees on long term absence to take affirmative action and maintain a positive and healthy engagement with the process.
